Student Advisory Board
Jay Kai is a Student Advisory Board Member for the Office of Undergraduate Education, where he works closely with Duke University's leadership to enrich the undergraduate experience. With a focus on building meaningful partnerships across faculty, staff, and students, he is committed to advancing inclusive, student-centered innovation.
Hailing from Singapore, Jay Kai brings an international perspective and a deep commitment to cross-cultural dialogue and educational equity within the Duke community. He is currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Public Policy, combining his passion for technology with a strong interest in engineering thoughtful, impactful policy.
Jay Kai holds a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (with Merit) from Singapore Polytechnic and is a proud member of Duke’s Class of 2029. He was previously named the 2024 Future Leader in Tech by the Singapore Computer Society.
