Lena is a freshman majoring in Economics and Public Policy. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, she has explored her passion for education through working with Americorps to bridge educational gaps across Arizona. After high school, she continued to pursue this passion, now teaching financial literacy to high school students in Durham through Duke’s First Generation Investors. On campus, she is also involved in organizations like Mock Trial, Business Oriented Women, and The Chronicle. In the future, she hopes to explore the intersection between business and law through consulting or finance with a focus on M&A.
