Jiae Kim

Student Advisory Board Member

Jiae Kim is a Student Advisory Board Member for OUE in the Duke Graduating Class of 2026. She is majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Education and a certificate in Child Policy Research. Influenced by her background growing up in South Korea, America, Russia, and Uzbekistan, she is interested in education equity and understanding how immigration status impacts educational outcomes. She is currently pursuing a secondary teacher's license in high school history.

In her free time, Jiae enjoys baking, trying out new restaurants, and traveling. As a travel enthusiast, she has visited 30 countries and counting.
