Student Advisory Board

Jayden Geneus is an African American Studies and Economics major in the Duke University Class of 2028. Originally from Miami, Florida, and of Haitian descent, he brings a unique perspective shaped by his cultural background and passion for community. Jayden is deeply interested in the intersection of law, economics, and social justice, and plans to pursue law school where he hopes to leverage his experiences to drive meaningful change. On campus, he serves as a Resident Assistant in Edens and is actively involved in the Black Pre-Law Society and Beyond Borders, where he builds community and fosters dialogue across cultures.

Outside of academics, Jayden enjoys creative and active pursuits. He is a drummer, often using music as a form of expression, and loves playing pickup basketball as a way to stay active and connect with peers. A dedicated thrifter, he also finds joy in discovering unique pieces that reflect his individuality.
