Ian graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he is originally from. In 2017 he received a B.A. in Organizational Communication with a minor in Youth Ministry. Since moving to North Carolina, he has acquired a wide range of professional experience from a background in facilities maintenance to business accounting, human resources management, software implementation, and administrative support. Passionate about developing efficient workflows and cultivating student success, Ian joined the ARC team in the Fall of 2022. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife who has also been a part of the Duke community for several years. They regularly enjoy long hikes, road trips, good food, facilitating discussions, and serving alongside their church family.
