Carolinas Coach
Grace is a current undergraduate in the class of 2026 and is majoring in chemistry. She is the co-founder and co-president of Durham AIM, a student organization dedicated to one-on-one mentorship for Durham high school students. In collaboration with the OUE, AIM focuses on college admissions preparation and post-secondary attainment among 9-11th graders, particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds. AIM's holistic approach seeks to guide students through the mechanics of college applications and instill a sense of possibility, ambition, and belonging in the higher education landscape. Grace was previously a tutor in local elementary/middle schools with Duke America Reads America Counts. She also conducts organic chemistry education research with the Duke Chemistry Department. In her free time, she is an avid weightlifter and crocheter.
