Darian Buck earned their Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community, Management, and Policy in May 2024 from UNC, where they served as an Intern with the Practicum Office and the “Undoing Racism” initiative, Program Administrator for StandUp-SpeakOut NC in Durham, and Generalist Social Work Intern & Development Associate for Helping Education in Raleigh. Darian also held positions as Student Ambassador for the UNC School of Social Work Ambassador Program, UNC Parr Center for Ethics Graduate Fellow and Residential Advocate for Inter-Faith Council for Social Services in Chapel Hill. They hold a B.A. in Philosophy and Women and Gender Studies with a minor in Social and Economic Justice from UNC-Chapel Hill.
