She is an undergraduate student in the class of 2026 at the Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. She is majoring in Political Science, with a concentration in Law and Political Theory, with a certificate in Ethics and Society, and a minor in Visual and Media Studies.
Alyssa was born and raised in Miami, FL, and with her dedication to justice, she aspires to go to law school after graduating from Duke. However, she also finds great joy in indulging in her creativity through art, graphic design, and media in general. She has an innate curiosity and passion for art and the endless opportunities it offers for exploration and self-expression.
She started working with OUE in the summer of 2024 as a graphic illustrator and has since joined the MarComms team to take on other forms of creative projects such as graphic design, photo editing, and video editing. She enjoys taking on new projects and learning more about visual media, which she also engages with in her extracurriculars. In her free time, she is the Marketing and Social Media Vice President for the Duke University Union Visual Arts Committee, an Executive Board Member for the Duke University Climbing Club, and a member of the Blue Devils Makes Comics Club.
