Associate Professor of the Practice in Chemistry and Education
Chris Roy grew up in Vermont and realized at an early age that he was fascinated with chemistry. He trained at the University of Vermont and Virginia Tech and is an organometallic chemist. Along with being a Faculty in Residence, Chris is the pre-health advisor for Neighborhood 2 and the Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies in the chemistry department. He also holds a secondary appointment in the Program in Education. You can often see Professor Roy trekking around East Campus with his Bernese Mountain Dog in Residence, Linus.
