Valerie Cullen is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Clark University, where she received a graduate degree in TESOL. She spent three years living in Japan teaching English, and has been working in the field of higher education in the U.S. for over twenty years. She joined the Global Education Office for Undergraduates in 2006.
Valerie lives in suburbia with her husband and two teens. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, music, and soccer (watching, not playing).
Primary Responsibilities: On-line application management, queries, and reporting, assessment, student records, summer scholarships. Program management for Visiting International & Exchange Student Program; Program management for Howard University and Spelman College Exchanges; website administration.
