Taira Bhargava is a senior majoring in Human Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Environmental Science. Originally from New Delhi, India, she has gained extensive experience in finance and strategy through roles at Goldman Sachs in global markets and as a research assistant at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Beyond finance, Taira is deeply committed to environmental and social impact initiatives. She co-founded Project Dhara, an environmental initiative that implemented India’s first rain garden for groundwater recharge, benefiting 80,000 residents. She also founded Double Roti Foundation, furthering sustainable water solutions. Additionally, she has spoken on CNN and contributed to research on reproductive health and social policy.
