Student Advisory Board
Rebecca Rockwell is a Student Advisory Board member for OUE in the Duke graduating Class of 2028. Her favorite aspect of the role is advocating for the student body and contributing to the diversity of voices represented on the board. She is passionate about bringing a wide range of perspectives and ideas to ensure that every student feels heard.
Rebecca has spent most of her life in Texas and Indiana and is pursuing the pre-medical track. Her ultimate goal is not only to enjoy her time at Duke but also to take full advantage of the many opportunities the university offers for growth, discovery, and connection.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys painting at the Arts Annex and traveling. One of her favorite Duke experiences so far was studying abroad through Duke in Rome, where she immersed herself in Italian culture and formed lasting friendships with fellow students. Rebecca is also an active member of Duke’s pre-medical society, Phi Delta Epsilon, and works at Bella Union and in the Gladfelter Lab.
