Student Advisory Board Member
Raahim Hashmi is an OUE Student Advisory Board member in the Duke graduating class of 2028. He enjoys shaping the student experience through his involvement in focus groups and surveys for OUE, working to enhance various aspects of campus life. Originally from Piscataway, NJ, Raahim has been actively engaged in local politics and advocacy for underrepresented communities, a passion he continues to pursue as a Public Policy major on a pre-law track.
At Duke, Raahim serves as a Senator for Services and Sustainability in Duke Student Government, is a member of the Muslim Student Association Executive Board, and writes for the Duke Undergraduate Law Review. In his free time, he enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time in nature—especially taking strolls through Duke Gardens.
