Nguyen Hoang Nguyen

Growing up in Vietnam, Nguyen saw firsthand how policy discussions in developing countries often lacked grounding in rigorous data and scientific evidence. That gap is what drives him: he hopes to conduct research that informs better policymaking and, ultimately, improves people's welfare around the world.
