Nanii Ellis

Assistant Director, DukeLIFE

Nanii Ellis is the Assistant Director of DukeLIFE where she leads DukeLIFE's ASCEND summer bridge and other academic support programs. Nanii came to Duke from Queens University of Charlotte where she held the position of Director of Academic Support Programs at the Center for Student Success. As part of her portfolio, she directed the THRIVE Institute summer bridge program, the peer tutoring and supplemental instruction program, and also co-chaired the university’s first-generation initiative. Nanii holds an MA in Student Affairs Administration from Appalachian State University.
