Research Scientist

Molly S. Weeks is a Research Scientist in Duke’s Office of Institutional Research, leading research, assessment, and evaluation efforts in furtherance of OUE’s mission to deliver transformative educational experiences for all undergraduates. As a psychological scientist with a background in human development, Molly’s research focuses on the factors that contribute to emotional well-being and academic adjustment during the college years and beyond. Molly works collaboratively with institutional research and assessment colleagues across campus to leverage data and research evidence to inform campus decision-making in support of student success. This work includes unit-led research initiatives, integration and analysis of administrative data, and consultation and support for colleagues interested in undertaking research, assessment, or evaluation projects in support of students.

Previously, Molly served as a research scientist in the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at Duke, and project director for the four-campus Student Resilience and Well-Being Project funded by The Duke Endowment. She received her B.A. in psychology with a minor in sociology from North Carolina State University, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Duke University.
