Director, Time Away Office
Lori comes to Duke after serving most recently as the Director for Student Services and Success at the UC Davis Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, where she led a team that helped students across the student lifecycle from recruitment to graduation. One of her many responsibilities in this role was supporting students contemplating, pursuing, and returning from a time away. Throughout her career, she has held numerous other positions, including Interim Director of Medical Admissions at Stanford Medicine, Assistant Dean of Admissions at Weill Cornell Medical College, and Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program Associate Director at the University of Virginia. Lori holds an M.Ed. in Counselor Education and a B.S. in Psychology from Lynchburg College.
