Assistant Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education - Intellectual Community

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I left my beloved mountains to study at Bowdoin College in Maine, where I received a BA in History and Religion in 2000. I went on to earn a MALS at Dartmouth College, then came to Duke in 2004 to continue my studies. In 2011, I received my PhD in History and began working at Duke soon thereafter. I have taught in the American Experience FOCUS Program since 2014.

Interests include:
