J’adore Harris-Tavita is a multimedia creative and scholar who is passionate about the intersection of equity, media, and the arts. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology with minors in Political Science and Journalism and Media. With extensive experience in research, storytelling, and community-centered initiatives, she explores how art and archives can amplify underrepresented voices and challenge dominant narratives. Her expertise spans media literacy and the role of storytelling in social change. As an advocate for creative justice, she uses artistic engagement to address domestic violence. A member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., she brings action-oriented leadership to civic initiatives, being a strong advocate for the power of art to heal and inspire change. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, J’adore enjoys visual storytelling, exploring historical narratives, and engaging with music from diverse cultures. She aspires to further her studies in forensic psychology, the criminal justice system, and rehabilitative justice, with the goal of expanding access to resources for underserved communities.
