  • I am a physician-scientist with focus on childhood cancer, and a former Duke undergrad, graduate and medical student.
  • I study a connective tissue cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma, and our lab group uses tools ranging from cell culture to biochemistry to genetically engineered mouse models to genomics to try and identify new therapies for this refractory cancer.
  • Fun facts about myself? My parents immigrated from Canada and the former Yugoslavia, and raised me to always think about how I can make the world a better place through my actions and words.
  • My favorite hobby is traveling, and on my bucket list is the Trans-Siberian Railway and Everest Base Camp.
