I am the faculty advisor for the Duke Prevet Society (PVS)and Research Scholars Program.

I am also the pre-veterinary advisor through the PVS.

I am research faculty in the Department of Pediatrics studying about adolescents with HIV (18-25 year olds).

We also study about the developing immune system of babies and how the immune system is impacted by fetal exposure to HIV.

I have a 2.5 year old female golden retriever and a daughter on a gap year before going to college.
