Summer Opportunities Fair Oct. 16

For the first time, Duke is holding a Summer Opportunities Fair for students to explore a wide variety of internships, fellowships and research programs in one place. Come on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 3-5 PM on West Campus in Rubenstein Library Room 153. Representatives from more than two dozen campus units that offer summer experiences will be present.

Across the Disciplines

Deans’ Summer Research Fellowships
Deadline: March 2, 2018
Eligibility: Trinity College students
Supports faculty-mentored research in any discipline in the arts and sciences. Fellowships may cover project expenses, travel, or living expenses.
URS Independent Study Grants & Assistantships
Deadline: Rolling
Grants: Up to $400 to support project expenses for a research independent study (for course credit).
Assistantships: Up to $400 in salary for a not for credit research experience at Duke.

Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowships
Deadline: Early March 2018
Supports students with a strong commitment to entering PhD programs in select disciplines in the humanities, social and natural sciences. Provides stipends for two years including academic terms and summers.

Latin America and the Caribbean

Undergraduate Research Scholars Program in Jewish Studies
