Michele L. Jones
Assistant to Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education
Michele L. Jones is Assistant to the Vice Provost in the Office of Undergraduate Education. Her primary roles include assisting and supporting the Vice Provost, supervising the work-study students, providing logistical support for the Board of Trustees Undergraduate Education Committee and one of its strategic task forces. She is responsible for and manages the day-to-day operations of the office. Michele, her husband, and three children moved from New Jersey to North Carolina in 2004. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she worked at a public-owned electric utility for 15 years. She is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a BA in Sociology and has over 25 years of experience as an administrative professional. She is a Certified Executive Administrative Professional (CEAP) through Office Dynamics International. Michele loves to sing and can often be heard humming a tune. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, going out to eat, or relaxing at home. Michele enjoys sports and loves watching football, basketball, and track and field.
